ABOUT RISE UP
Rise Up first started in 2015 as a movement to shift the culture for the sanctity of life in LA county. Continue reading to learn more about how Rise Up began.
In 2015, God gave us the vision for Options of "Building a community that values and protects human life!" We launched Rise Up as an event for the Options community to gather together to stand for life and to invite others to do the same.

The following year, God gave us the scripture Nehemiah 2:18 as the theme verse for Rise Up. “And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good…and they said, ‘Let us rise up and build.’ So they strengthened their hands for the good work.” We believe that the hand of God has been upon Options and Rise Up is the opportunity to share with the community all that has been happening to save lives! We trust that as the community hears all that the Lord has done at Options, the response will be to Rise Up and build with us! That each year, more people will join us in helping families choose life through providing help, hope & healing in the midst of unplanned pregnancies! Since Rise Up's inception, our vision has been updated to, "Building communities that value and protect human life"! That God's vision for Options goes beyond La Puente, beyond the San Gabriel Valley, that a culture of life knows no bounds and will be awakened in the heart of man!
